Can you please explain how some of the photographers are labeled “best in the world” I am not sure if it is a lack of criterion in the submission process or what, but some of these photographers seem sub-par and very, very banal.
Do note: plsr. is very fresh not to say ‘beta’. If some images seem below your expectations feel free to say so. It’s up to you visitors to determine the very ‘best’.
Nonetheless plsr. is trying to keep a certain quality standard and working on that day by day – so any feedback is muchly appreciated.
I guess some photographers seem to be top-notch and others seem sub-par. And some people are too judgemental.
I still think the quality of this website is extremely high.
surely Its subjective isnt it? Whilst not everything on here is my cup of tea it doesnt mean its not up to scratch.
Banality- does that necessarily equal no good? Eggleston and to a certain extent Gursky are purveyors of the banal yet their work speaks for itself…
Keep up the good work PLSR
