Trained as a photographer and journalist and based in London for many years, Judy Starkman has honed her skills working all over the world.

Real people and "characters", are Starkman’s specialty. “Storytelling can happen in many different ways, in words and images. I love connecting with my characters and brining out the unexpected moments that feel real and authentic. That’s what people remember and connect with.”

Starkman lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs.
