Mark Anderson started his career as a surfing photographer in his native Australia in the late seventies. In the early eighties he moved into fashion and after a short stint shooting for Elle, Follow Me and Seventeen he decided to move to London But, he caught the travelling bug and so to compensate for his expenses he started shooting live concert images of some of the worlds leading entertainers including David Bowie, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, U2 and Madonna. The list goes on. By the early nineties Mark once again felt it was time to get back into the studio.

He was soon on a plane almost every other week flying into the states to shoot megastars such as George Clooney, Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek and Mike Myers. Marks work has appeared in Esquire, British Esquire, Premier Elle (British, US, Italian, French, Canadian), Spanish Vogue, Arena, Madame Figaro, Glow, GQ, Strut, The New York Times and the Sunday Times Magazines, to name a few.

He is currently at work on two solo coffee table books.
Mark resides in Los Angeles.
